I DECIDED TO DO MY OWN MOODBOARDS FOR THE DIFFERENT THEME THIS IS FOR CINEMATIC. I LOOKED INTO A LOT OF COLOUR PALLETTES
AND DIFFERENT IMAGES ON WGSN.

these were some of my ideas for the hybrid shoot seeing as i focused on the half man half women. i think you can still make a women look glamourous with a mustache.

1) Thick eyebrows: Thick eyebrows were the pinnacle of glamour in the 50s! Just look at katherine and audrey hepburn, they had wonderful lovely thick eyebrows that some might label masculine... But it's a far cry from the 20s makeup when a thinly draw on eyebrow was customary.

2)Neutral EyeShadows: You don't have many eyeshadow colors to choose from for your 1950s makeup palette. Pick matte colors first off. Then, use an all over base in a tone only slightly lighter than your foundation, and then use a highlight as you normally would, something much lighter to bring out your nice thick eyebrows. Then, for your crease use a slightly darker shadow for your entire crease area, from inside to outside edge, then apply a much darker shadow to your outside edge only.

3)Thick-Lined Top Lashline: Your top lashline needs to definitely be stronger than your bottom. Think of the 60s mod era where top lined lash lines were popular, and that's what you're doing now, but restrain the need to draw a long tail because the line only covers the lashline and then juts out a little. You should also put mascara on your top and bottom lashes, but focus more color once again on the top lashes.

4)Lightly contoured cheekbones: Grab some contouring colors, a little more than slightly darker than your skin tone/foundation and apply this into your cheek area, stronger near the area at the top edge of the ear and the hairline, following the direction of the  cheek bone, stopping at the mid cheek with lighter or less color. This gives you the wonderful Audrey and Katherine cheek bones.

5)Red/Reddish Lipstick: This will complete your look because red lipstick was a very popular color for 50s makeup. Now be careful because red isn't red! Red lipstick comes in different shades and you should play around and find a couple different shades that go well with your skintone. And beware of the daytime/nighttime shade differnce unless you're being daring.Take a pencil to line with first, same color as the lipstick, and color in the lips then apply the lipstick, preferrably with a lip brush or something similar. Start for the interior of the lips, add the line, and then fill in.
